The place has no heat when it's cold my wife and I froze. My biskets were burnt and my eggs and hbs wouldn't stay on my fork. Guess it was a bad day. Either way I and my family will not return.

The decore looks like one big hand me down from 1974 right down to the walls and floors. Like Sanford and Son would be right at home here.

The hand-breaded chicken fried steak is one of the best I've eaten. Their portions are generous. I've been coming here for years and their staff seems to be getting more friendly. My only complaint would be that the waitstaff never offers desserts, which are usually delicious. The waitstaff always bring your ticket without asking if you'd like dessert, then when you order it, they have to come pick up the ticket and change it. This happens nearly every time we order dessert. I'd like them to be trained to offer dessert before bringing the ticket. I would think desserts would be a great money maker and they'd do well to offer them to every guest.
You need your basics otherwise you should just stay home. My belief is if you start things wrong, things will never be right as was our case. So pick a warm day and hope they have a/c that works. I hear their lunch is good but I'll be looking for a more inviting place to spend my money at.
